Suitable for Aqueous / Non-Aqueous, Red-Ox and a range of other titrations. A high precision metering dispenser is used to add the precision titrant.
Suitable for TAN / TBN analysis of engine / instrument based lubricating oils etc. Micro-controller is have Graphic LCD Display and Pen Touch Key Board.
The end point of the valuation is determined automatically. The result is automatically calculated by the instrument with built-in formulas. Balance and printer interface is available. PC interface is available to store relevant titration data and results on PC. Appropriate software is supplied for the required interface.RS232 port is provided for balancing and PC interface.
The main unit of this apparatus incorporates the microprocessor-based circuit. A lightweight pen-touch keyboard mounts to the side of an informational alphanumeric display. The display indicates the emf in millivolts generated during the titration process and also the millivolts generated with each volume addition of titrant to the reaction beaker and the total volume of titrant added. The time interval between two consecutive additions of the titrant is also shown on the display.
All factors such as the volume of titrant to be added in each addition, the time interval between two consecutive additions and the total volume of titrant to be added can be pre-configured in the program with the keyboard.
The main unit cabinet itself serves as a robust titration head with built-in magnetic stirrer. The titration vessel with electrodes and titrant inlet is maintained. A motorized precision dispensing unit housed in a small box can be kept in the main cabinet and attached on the side of the titration vessel making the equipment quite compact.
A highly accurate metering dispenser correctly follows the commands of the microprocessor-based circuitry in the main unit and accurately adds preset volumes of the titrant at preset intervals as per the set program.
Observing the parameters on the alphanumeric screen, such as the volume of titrant added with each addition, the time interval between consecutive additions, emf in millivolts that are generated during the titration process and in particular that generated with each addition of fixed volume of titrant, one can easily draw the graph with clear indication of the maximum values. If necessary, a printer can be connected to print all these parameters for record keeping
