BULK DENSITY APPARATUS

Bulk density apparatus is one specially designed to study the packing down of powder beds of different pharmaceutical and chemical powders, flakes, pellets, granules and other bulk substances. Bulk density is an essential test required in the tablet process, capsule filling and cosmetic manufacturing.

The system is equipped with microcontroller based digital display for the precise and exact number of strokes display and soft touch membrane keys for easy operation.
 
The system has 'SET', 'UP' and the 'DOWN' keys, to set the total number of strokes required (Count Set) for the current measurement session. The user can set any number of traces needed within the range 1-9999 counts. The system automatically stores the last "Count Set" value, which is kept in memory even when the instrument is off.
 
Each number of strokes is displayed on the bright red 4-digit seven-segment LED display on the front panel. A common cushioned lock holder for both the cylinders descends smoothly from the height and holds the cylinders. The up / down movement (ie tapping) of the cylinders automatically stops at the 'Set Count' value. An audible alarm sound indicates that the current measurement session has ended.
In the event of a power failure, the last counts are retained and the instrument automatically starts counting from the power cut point.
The instrument uses the latest microprocessor technology and advanced engineering techniques to provide greater precision and reproducibility.
